Gift
of Hope cards make an ideal gift for a family member or friend for Christmas.
Available in either a $10 (“Presents”) or $25 (“Four Designs”) option, the Gift
of Hope cards were designed by talented five year old Megan Dunn, diagnosed with
type 1 diabetes when she was two years old.
As
well as a seasonal greeting, Gift of Hope cards carry this special message
inside: A donation of $10 (or $25) has been made on your behalf to the
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the only not-for-profit organisation
dedicated to finding a cure for diabetes. Juvenile diabetes (type 1) affects
100,000 Australians. It is the most severe chronic disease of childhood. This
gift offers the exciting hope that one day these Australians will live
insulin-free. |
